Wanyjirra – Nyawa Ngali Marnana Wanyjirra Jaru: We Speak Wanyjirra

Wanyjirra is a language spoken in the Northern Territory and along the border region of the East Kimberley. Wanyjirra speakers Maggie Scott and Tiny McCale grew up together at Inverway Station which is a place in Wanyjirra known as Binanyi, meaning waterlilly. All the Wanyjirra speakers who have been involved in creating this book hope it will encourage their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to enjoy and learn their own language.
