The traditional lands of the Wangkajunga speakers is the Great Sandy Desert. This wordbook is the work of many people who with their traditional backgrounds provided knowledge of the Wangkajunga language.
The book has a section in which words and expressions are arranged under topics and additional information is given. It also has diagrams showing desert waterholes. Some of this material had never been recorded and gives the user insight into a traditional way of life.\”
